Prescribing Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Virtual - Remote) - 1099 Contractor

Location: Remote within the United States; an unrestricted Wisconsin state license and full-time US residency are required. Office space for seeing clients is required.

What you will do

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric medication management through video intake and follow-up appointments.
• Conduct mental health risk assessments and psychiatric medication evaluations.
• Deliver longitudinal medication treatment for children, teens, and young adults.
• Develop patient-centered treatment plans, document recommendations, message patients, and prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services when appropriate.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited CCNE Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program, or an accredited ARC-PA physician assistant program with PANCE certification.
• Hold an unrestricted Wisconsin state license and be a full-time resident of the United States.
• Have at least 2 years of professional practice experience.
• Maintain office space suitable for seeing clients.
• Provide care across a full range of diagnoses, clinical complexity, and severity levels.
• Follow safe, evidence-based medication treatment and clinical best-practice guidelines.

Nice to have

• Active DEA license.
• Additional certification or clinical experience with minors.
• Preference for providers who can offer in-person options.
• For physician assistants, psychiatry qualifications, postgraduate psychiatry fellowship, academic psychiatry certification, or a Doctor of Medical Science with a psychiatry concentration.
