What you will do

• Support strengthening of pedigree development and performance recording for endangered indigenous livestock breeds.
• Assist with molecular characterization and data management systems for genetic conservation.
• Ensure scientific integrity of parentage verification and genetic conservation data.
• Coordinate with hirify.global consultants and the project team to support deliverables and targets.
• Contribute to integration of recorded data into community-based breeding programmes in Northwest Iran.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in animal breeding and genetics, molecular genetics, animal biotechnology, animal science, veterinary genetics, or a closely related field.
• Strong knowledge of molecular genetics applications in livestock parentage verification, breed characterization, and genetic diversity analysis.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with molecular genetics applications in livestock, including parentage testing, genetic diversity assessment, and breed characterization.
