Independence & Ethics Senior Associate (Compliance): Managing independence and ethical compliance standards for audit and advisory engagements with an accent on regulatory adherence and risk mitigation. Location: Must be based in the United States. This is a hybrid role requiring in-person attendance at least three days per week at a office or client site.
Salary: $80,000–$105,000

What you will do
- Apply independence and ethical standards to audit, attest, and non-audit client relationships.
- Assist personnel with independence inquiries and evaluate self-audit questionnaires.
- Develop and maintain independence resources, publications, and annual training materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining clear communication with the Independence and Ethics team.
- Collaborate with service lines to resolve complex independence and ethical issues.
- Oversee project efforts and provide guidance to staff members.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States and able to work in a hybrid capacity.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 3–7 years of progressive experience in audit, advisory, or tax within a medium to large public accounting firm.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to challenging situations with professionalism.
Nice to have
- Experience in a professional standards or quality role.
- CPA certification.
