Location: USA - New York, NY (Hybrid; on-site at NYC office twice a week once the development center is established)

Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Build a platform for developing and running data connectors at scale with quality.
• Create generic connectors (file ingestion framework, WebSocket, REST APIs) for low-latency processing of large data volumes.
• Develop integration platform features (certification, easy development, testing, and deployment).
• Solve distributed systems challenges including high availability, reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Develop platform/systems in Go & Python and support globally available multi-region production systems.
• Lead and participate in cross-team initiatives; troubleshoot critical production issues and improve internal tools/processes.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in the USA (New York, NY) and be comfortable visiting the NYC office twice a week once the development center is established.
• 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining complex software applications/systems across the development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed system architecture, scalability/availability, and optimization.
• Fluency in at least one programming language, preferably Go or Python.
• Experience with commercial clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong communication skills and a track record of operational excellence for services spanning multiple components and geographical regions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with security data ingestion platforms and data ingestion architecture.
• Understanding of security platforms/tools (firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR, cloud security tools).
• Hands-on experience building SIEM connectors or operating platforms that run connectors at scale.
