Senior System Engineer (Defense): Conducting systems and system-of-systems architecture design, integration, and certification for national security and defense programs with an accent on C2 systems and Tactical Data Links. Location: Remote / Hybrid (San Diego, CA). Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain an active U.S. national security clearance.

What you will do

• Design and implement systems and system-of-systems architecture, including integration and certification activities.
• Define and allocate technical requirements across multiple systems and stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis and summarize results to support operational and technical decision-making.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including test plans and reports.
• Analyze data from disparate sources to identify trends and address operational challenges.
• Support administration, configuration, and troubleshooting in virtualized environments.

Requirements

• US Citizenship and active U.S. national security clearance (or the ability to obtain and maintain one).
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 15+ years of relevant systems engineering or technical integration experience.
• Experience with Tactical Data Links (TDL) or Command and Control (C2) systems.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and data analysis skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with MIDS On-Ship (MOS) environments.
• Background as a systems administrator for various operating systems.
• Experience with VMware and virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of COMSEC-related processes and equipment.
• Experience with C2EDS, COP Sync Tool, JNDA, or S-WAN.
