Salary: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enhancements for a study management system.
• Collaborate with study leadership and data managers to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
• Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to track participant progress and recruitment pipelines.
• Implement automated workflows, notifications, and monitoring tools to streamline study operations.
• Design and implement database enhancements to improve data quality and reporting performance.
• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations with research platforms and data collection systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
• Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Experience designing and supporting web-based applications and database-driven systems.
• Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting clinical research, epidemiologic studies, or public health systems.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, FISMA, or FedRAMP data security requirements.
• Experience working within NIH, academic research, or government-funded research environments.
