What you will do

• Own the localization strategy, quality bar, and final sign-off for Spanish content across all titles.
• Review and edit in-game text, UI, scripts, and voiceover for tone, clarity, and cultural relevance.
• Develop and enforce glossaries, style guides, and cultural content policies for the Spanish market.
• Serve as the primary linguistic escalation point for bugs, tone disputes, and QA challenges.
• Lead voiceover casting, script review, and direct creative sessions during production.
• Collaborate with producers, developers, and marketing to guide language decisions and ensure brand alignment.

Requirements

• Professional localization experience in games, tech, or entertainment.
• Native fluency in Spanish with mastery of regional nuance and tone.
• Advanced English fluency (written and spoken) to represent language decisions globally.
• Proven ability to work independently on complex language projects.
• Strong knowledge of platform-holder guidelines and brand alignment principles.
• Must be based in Madrid, Spain as this is an onsite role.

Nice to have

• Experience with VO scripting, dubbing production, and linguistic performance direction.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with CAT tools, translation memory systems, XLOC, JIRA, and CMS.
