Technical Program Manager - Infrastructure

Location: San Francisco, CA; New York, NY; United States. Full-time work is available from a US hub or remotely within the United States. In-person onboarding is required.

Annual base salary: $185,000–$317,000 USD

What you will do

• Lead execution, coordination, and risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Drive initiatives covering reliability, storage, distributed systems, cloud-native performance, encryption key management, FedRAMP, and SOC 2.
• Coordinate engineering, infrastructure, security, compliance, legal, external partners, and other stakeholders.
• Track milestones, dependencies, blockers, and delivery across data, caching, observability, and security engineering teams.
• Develop infrastructure program management practices and facilitate testing and rollout strategies that minimize downtime.
• Communicate technical risks, trade-offs, and program status to executive leadership and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Infrastructure TPM or related cloud engineering, SRE, or infrastructure-focused software engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems using AWS, GCP, or similar platforms.
• Technical expertise in storage, caching, search, and event-driven systems, including S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redis, OpenSearch, and Kafka.
• Experience leading migrations, cost optimization, encryption or key management, and reliability initiatives for high-availability services.
• Strong cross-functional program and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level technical communication.
• Remote candidates must be based in the United States; in-person onboarding is required.

Nice to have

• Experience establishing and scaling TPM or program management functions.
• Experience with enterprise security and compliance programs, infrastructure incident management, or external enterprise technical partners.
• Software engineering or site reliability engineering background.
