Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (Fintech)

What you will do

• Plan, design, and build core infrastructure systems used by development and engineering teams.
• Debug critical production infrastructure issues and perform deep root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Design and operate systems with a strong focus on site health, reliability, and automated workload movement.
• Build and enhance platform solutions using Go or Python to improve developer velocity.
• Collaborate with product engineering to build secure services powering transactions, payments, and authentication.
• Promote engineering best practices and guide peers in design and coding standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or Infrastructure as Code.
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications in Kubernetes.
• Practical experience using Terraform in declarative service infrastructure environments.
• Production programming experience in Go or Python.
• Experience with cloud environments (GCP, AWS, and/or Azure).
• Must be based in the US; position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (H-1B, PERM).

Nice to have

• Proficiency building and scaling custom Kubernetes controllers and operators.
• Experience managing production environments specifically in GCP.
• Experience with Service Mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with AlloyDB, Memorystore, or Pub/Sub.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes.
