What you will do

• Lead high‑complexity accounts and drive integrated medical/scientific communication strategies.
• Serve as the principal scientific contact for client stakeholders and clinical leads to align strategy with brand priorities.
• Oversee high‑quality content across manuscripts, congress materials, training assets, and MLR‑regulated materials.
• Manage and mentor 3–5 direct reports, conducting performance evaluations and guiding career development.
• Lead scientific discussions, workshops, and advisory boards as an external representative of the organization.
• Collaborate with Client Services on resourcing, scoping, and forecasting for pitches and proposals.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in a scientific or healthcare‑related field (MSc, PhD, PharmD, MD) preferred.
• Must be based in the US or Canada.
• ~6+ years of experience in medical communications/medical writing, including account leadership.
• ~2+ years of people management and coaching experience.
• Expertise in scientific writing, data interpretation, and publication standards (AMA, GPP, ICMJE).
• Strong understanding of clinical research and the regulatory landscape, specifically guiding MLR submissions.
