Salary: €75,000–€102,000

What you will do

• Design and implement complex features for the web-shop, ensuring scalable and maintainable code.
• Build and extend backend services with clean interfaces and well-defined API contracts.
• Contribute to frontend development using React with a focus on performance.
• Implement asynchronous communication patterns using RabbitMQ.
• Take full ownership of features from design and implementation to deployment and monitoring.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and contribute to engineering standards.

Requirements

• Strong experience building and operating scalable services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Solid expertise in RESTful API design, HTTP semantics, and distributed system fundamentals.
• Proficiency with asynchronous communication patterns and event-driven architecture.
• DevOps mindset with experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and production monitoring.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with broader team architecture.
• Must be based in Berlin to fulfill the hybrid office requirements.
