TL;DR
Angular/NodeJS Developer (Healthcare): Building and migrating a cloud-based Web Dashboard application for healthcare EDI transactions with an accent on RESTful API design and data transformation. Focus on integrating EDI pipelines, developing Angular components, and ensuring data fidelity for clinical users.
Location: 100% U.S. based remote. Candidates from CA, CO, IL, MN, NJ, NY, OR, or WA will not be considered.
Salary: $85,389 - $116,975

What you will do
- Build and migrate a cloud-based Web Dashboard for processing healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions.
- Design and maintain RESTful APIs in NodeJS and Java to retrieve and transform EDI healthcare records.
- Develop and maintain an Angular-based frontend to surface data accurately to business and clinical users.
- Collaborate with C#/.Net and AWS engineers to define clean API contracts.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support production deployments on AWS.
- Participate in code reviews and apply software engineering best practices within an Agile framework.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must possess or qualify for a Public Trust (MBI) security clearance.
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong backend focus in Java and/or NodeJS.
- 8+ years of experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs in healthcare or enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with Angular and Cloud services (AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Nice to have
- Experience with X.12 medical claims (837, 834, 277, etc).
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance requirements and accessibility standards (Section 508/WCAG 2.1).
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker, ECS, or EKS.
- Familiarity with C#/.Net backend services for cross-team integration.
