What you will do

• Develop, deploy, and operate scalable bioinformatics analysis workflows on AWS.
• Evaluate and incorporate novel bioinformatic approaches to solve critical business problems.
• Originate and lead the development of new data collection workflows with cross-functional partners.
• Partner with laboratory science teams on the design and analysis of experiments.

Requirements

• PhD, or Master's degree and 4+ years of experience in CS, CE, ML or related field.
• Must be based in or authorized to work in Seattle, WA, USA.
• Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals.
• Proficiency in programming in Java, C++, Python or related languages.
• Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis of results.

Nice to have

• Experience in professional software development.
• 2+ years developing and operating bioinformatic or analysis pipelines in Nextflow, WDL, Flyte, or similar.
