What you will do

• Lead the roadmap and delivery of authentication services across multiple Microsoft Entra ID tenants.
• Govern federation services including PingFederate/PingOne and Entra ID configurations to ensure high availability and security.
• Establish and enforce MFA and SSO standards for workforce and partner application ecosystems.
• Partner with cybersecurity and architecture teams to implement conditional access patterns and modern protocols like SAML, OIDC, and OAuth.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of direct reports and offshore staff members.
• Develop and report KPIs regarding availability, authentication success rates, and MFA adoption.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of experience in identity and access management, authentication engineering, or security architecture.
• 3+ years of management experience leading technical teams delivering highly available services.
• Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) and federation stacks (e.g., PingFederate/PingOne).
• Proficiency with SAML 2.0, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0 protocols.
• Must be based in the US to be eligible for company-sponsored benefits (401k, US health insurance).

Nice to have

• Experience with PAM, PIM, and Zero Trust frameworks.
• Strong background in SRE concepts (SLIs/SLOs, capacity planning, disaster recovery).
• Experience integrating authentication with endpoint trust signals (e.g., Intune).
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Microsoft identity/security certifications.
