What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications and RESTful APIs using Java and related frameworks.
• Build and support microservices for high-performance, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions.
• Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, performance, and production readiness.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation efforts to enhance software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and monitor production environments to maintain application health and implement improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java.
• 3+ years of experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices.
• 1+ years of experience working with AI software development tools such as GitHub Copilot.
• Must be able to work onsite at the Charlotte, NC location.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Boot and cloud-native architectures such as Kubernetes.
• Background in supporting trading, market data, or FIX-based systems.
• Knowledge of application security practices and vulnerability remediation using SonarQube.
• Proficiency with GitHub-based workflows and modern developer tooling (VS Code).
