Location: Must be based in the UK (London/Cardiff or remote within the UK). Relocation to the UK and visa sponsorship are available.
Salary: £113,200 – £153,200 + Incentive Awards.

What you will do
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of ML specialists through regular 1:1s and clear career development plans.
- Partner with Product, Risk, and Engineering teams to shape roadmaps and prioritize high-impact fraud prevention initiatives.
- Ensure high-quality ML delivery across the full model lifecycle, including development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Maintain a high bar for model performance, explainability, and safe production operations.
- Foster an inclusive team culture that encourages feedback, knowledge sharing, and sustainable high performance.
- Contribute to the broader ML and Data discipline at the company, including hiring and improving internal processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Machine Learning specialists and delivering results through others.
- Strong ML judgement with expertise in the full model lifecycle from problem framing to production iteration.
- Ability to navigate ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces and make clear trade-offs.
- Experience building trusted relationships with cross-functional stakeholders like Product, Risk, and Engineering.
- Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Deep commitment to building inclusive teams and supporting growth at all levels of seniority.
