TL;DR

Senior Consultant (Insurance): Managing client accounts and insurance portfolios with an accent on Property and Casualty coverage, risk assessment, and strategic client advisory. Focus on building relationships, coordinating renewal processes, and ensuring comprehensive coverage for business clients.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Clayton, MO for a hybrid role.

What you will do

  • Lead account managers in servicing clients and maintaining business contacts.
  • Proactively market and service accounts with multiple lines of coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients to address their insurance needs.
  • Collaborate with producers to discuss and prepare insurance specifications and proposals.
  • Research and identify appropriate insurance products and policies for clients.
  • Manage billing discrepancies and coordinate renewal meetings and claims reviews.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in the Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance field.
  • Active Brokers License required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with agency management systems like Applied or Epic.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally nationally to meet client needs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Mergers & Acquisitions or Private Equity.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat.
