TL;DR

Security Consultant (Supply Chain/Fintech): Identifying and responding to cyber risks across a third-party ecosystem with an accent on threat intelligence, incident response, and supplier risk. Focus on detecting threats using data and tooling, translating complex findings into actionable advice, and integrating AI to enhance security outcomes.

Location: Hybrid; must be based in the UK and able to work from Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds, or Manchester offices at least 40% of the time.

Salary: £48,987 - £59,000 per annum

What you will do

  • Detect and analyse cyber threats across the third-party ecosystem using threat intelligence and specialized tooling.
  • Translate complex security findings into clear, actionable advice to inform business and technology decisions.
  • Collaborate with cyber, resilience, and supplier teams to ensure security is designed, embedded, and continuously improved.
  • Support incident response and drive proactive, intelligence-led security controls across the Group.
  • Explore and implement automation and AI to enhance detection, analysis, and response capabilities.

Requirements

  • Deep security expertise in threat detection, endpoint security, malware protection, and information security controls.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain threats and current emerging cyber risks in third-party environments.
  • Ability to apply operational risk principles to drive clear and proportionate decisions.
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate it into business-relevant recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders and driving continuous improvement in agile environments.
  • Location: Must be based in the UK and visit offices in Edinburgh, Bristol, Leeds, or Manchester at least two days per week.
