Salary: $115,000 - $170,000

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of complex software systems for Windows and Linux environments.
• Mentor mid-level and junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
• Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for mission-critical data analysis tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and analysts to translate operational requirements into technical solutions.
• Establish coding standards, development workflows, and quality assurance processes.
• Design and implement comprehensive testing strategies, including unit and integration tests.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• 8+ years of experience in software design, development, and debugging.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or senior engineering role.
• Expertise in server-side languages: Java, C++, Python, and Go.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, and production Kubernetes environments.

Nice to have

• CompTIA Security+ certification or higher (CISSP, CEH).
• Experience with Kafka message bus and asynchronous interface validation.
• Background in Intelligence Community systems and workflows.
• Experience as a Scrum Master or Tech Lead in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience refactoring and modernizing large legacy code bases.
