What you will do

• Develop AI algorithms for advanced cardiac medical imaging platforms.
• Build, maintain, and optimize 3D segmentation, modeling, and measurement pipelines.
• Design and train deep learning models for medical imaging using CT, MRI, and echocardiography data.
• Develop computational geometry algorithms for 3D anatomical modeling and analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, clinical experts, and regulatory teams to ensure algorithm robustness.
• Drive technical decisions and mentor less experienced team members.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience in AI, machine learning, or computer vision.
• Advanced Python development skills for production-grade software.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch, NumPy, SciPy, VTK, or similar scientific libraries.
• Expertise in 3D data processing, segmentation, reconstruction, and mesh handling.
• Practical experience with medical imaging modalities (CT, MRI, echocardiography).
• Work permit and residency in the European Union region are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with regulated healthcare or medical device development standards.
• Fluent English and German language skills.
• Experience applying GenAI and agent-based workflows within the SDLC.
