What you will do

• Oversee daily operations of the Hangzhou DRS lab, ensuring alignment with global processes and China-specific requirements.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, equipment, and case assignments to lab engineers and third-party partners.
• Conduct routine audits on process compliance, quality, and data security controls.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for technicians and support staff.
• Manage third-party data recovery partners to ensure adherence to Seagate processes and security policies.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for operational escalations and case exceptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven leadership and people management skills with the ability to coach and develop a team.
• Experience managing operations in a technical, lab, or workflow-driven environment.
• Knowledge of HDD/SSD fundamentals and storage interface protocols (SATA, SAS, NVMe, USB, Thunderbolt).
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin is required.
• Must be willing to work in Hangzhou with potential relocation to Wuxi.
