TL;DR

Editor (B2B Technology): Copyediting and proofreading research deliverables and reports with an accent on content quality, house style adherence, and CMS workflow management. Focus on ensuring the timeliness of research outputs, training analysts in editorial processes, and standardizing business workflow documentation.

Location: Hybrid in George Town, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia (minimum 3 days per week in office)

What you will do

  • Copyedit and proofread reports (Word), presentations (PowerPoint), and spreadsheets (Excel) to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Manage the publishing workflow within the CMS from the editorial queue to final publication.
  • Support the creation and repurposing of research content across various sectors.
  • Train analysts and colleagues on writing skills, style guides, and editorial workflows.
  • Develop and standardize business workflow documentation and process maps.
  • Collaborate with research and data teams to ensure high-quality, on-time delivery.

Requirements

  • Top-tier English-language writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and publishing tools.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with senior stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Experience in B2B technology market intelligence or a similar sector.
  • Basic working knowledge of Power BI and Tableau dashboards.
  • Experience writing and editing white papers, blogs, or e-books.
