What you will do
- Write compelling copy for campaigns, digital ads, social media, landing pages, and product content.
- Develop brand narratives, messaging frameworks, and tone-of-voice guidelines.
- Craft headlines, scripts, and storytelling angles that are conversion-oriented.
- Produce scripts and storylines for short-form videos, social content, and podcasts.
- Collaborate with designers, video producers, and marketing teams to execute creative concepts.
- Stay updated on cultural trends and viral content styles to identify new storytelling opportunities.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in brand, content, or creative writing.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative writing, scripts, or digital content.
- Deep understanding of social media behavior, trends, and engagement drivers.
- Excellent command of English (Malay is a plus).
- Ability to iterate quickly and think like an owner regarding content performance.
Nice to have
- Experience writing for video or podcasts.
- Familiarity with storyboarding, creative direction, or basic video editing.
- Passion for media, culture, and entertainment content.
