What you will do

• Assemble, integrate, and optimize hardware components including laptops, radios, antennas, and power systems within drone ground control stations.
• Configure, operate, and support Silvus radio systems and related communication hardware in operational conditions.
• Design and maintain robust cabling and power management solutions for mobile deployments.
• Conduct hands-on outdoor testing and iterative improvements of systems in field environments.
• Support adaptation of ground control stations to customer and mission-specific requirements.
• Document system setups, configurations, and test results clearly for internal and customer use.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Munich or Berlin, Germany
• Experience with hardware integration and optimization in drone ground control stations.
• Proficiency with Silvus radio systems and antenna configurations.
• Familiarity with Linux-based system operation and configuration.
• Ability to perform outdoor testing and work hands-on with hardware in field environments.
• Strong documentation skills for system setups and test results.

Nice to have

• Experience in military, defence, or security-related environments.
• Background with tactical communication systems or Bundeswehr requirements.
• Experience with networking equipment, ruggedized systems, and 3D printing.
• Skills in repairing composite or plastic structural components.
