What you will do

• Own the end-to-end manufacturing process for complex electronic and electromechanical systems, including assembly, integration, and testing.
• Lead industrialization and New Product Introduction (NPI) for new hardware systems, including control plans and production validation.
• Oversee day-to-day production activities, ensuring adherence to production plans, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Define and manage investments in tooling, test equipment, fixtures, and measurement systems.
• Manage cost, schedule, and capacity planning, focusing on continuous improvement of takt time and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to integrate manufacturing and testing requirements into product development.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in industrialized production of complex, safety-critical hardware systems.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive, or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proven ownership of production processes in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, or defense.
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic integration, including interconnects, harnessing, routing, and termination methods.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, risk assessment, and restructuring production procedures.
• Fluent English required; German knowledge is a plus.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as a process or assembly engineer in aerospace or EV development.
• Knowledge of industry standards related to harness assembly.
• Prior experience using CAD and programming languages.
• Ability to read P&ID and Fluid Drawings.
