Data Science & AI Intern

Location: Onsite in Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima), Thailand. Travel is not required.

What you will do

• Formulate business and engineering challenges as well-defined AI problems with guidance from data scientist mentors.
• Develop anomaly detection and root cause analysis solutions for complex manufacturing processes and capacity planning controls.
• Apply time series foundation models, causal AI, optimization, simulation, and AI-based reasoning to model manufacturing behavior.
• Design and implement scalable data and AI systems for large-scale manufacturing datasets.
• Deliver reliable, production-ready insights to support resilient, data-driven operational decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Substantial AI/ML experience with industrial use cases involving tabular data, time series data, and computer vision.
• Proficiency in Python for model development.
• Experience with relevant machine learning, deep learning, causal AI, optimization, and simulation libraries and frameworks, including scikit-learn, PyTorch, Optuna, DoWhy, PyMC, SciPy, Google OR-Tools, Mesa, and related tools.
• Proficiency in English for writing, speaking, and presentations.
• Ability to work onsite at the Korat manufacturing facility in Thailand.
