What you will do

• Evaluate new trends in cybersecurity and emerging algorithms and protocols.
• Develop and analyze new security technology to provide guidance for future Seagate products.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts across worldwide Seagate sites.
• Publish and present research papers at top-tier industry and academic conferences.
• Produce technical reports and file patents based on novel security research.

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent education in Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven research and publication record in cryptography, systems security, or related fields.
• Experience designing, implementing, or analyzing cryptographic protocols.
• Programming proficiency in Rust, C/C++, or Python.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work on-site in Shakopee, MN, US.
