What you will do

• Manage program priorities, scope, and technical risks across multidisciplinary activities.
• Derive system-level security requirements and define implementation plans for complex missions.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate security technologies.
• Develop and document security best practices and mentor less experienced engineers.
• Present technical work and security approaches to program offices and sponsors.
• Write innovative R&D proposals for government and commercial sponsors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Physics required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience (5-10 years with a Master’s degree).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (Secret required, Top Secret preferred).
• Proficiency in full life-cycle systems engineering for cyber-physical systems.
• Experience with STIGs, risk management frameworks, and cryptographic key management.
• Familiarity with DOORS, MATLAB, or Python.
