What you will do

• Design and engineer comprehensive cybersecurity architecture and security strategies.
• Identify, define, and document system security requirements for critical infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain security infrastructure software and hardware.
• Monitor systems for security breaches, intrusions, and irregular behavior.
• Develop and execute security measures to protect information and network infrastructure.
• Educate and train staff on information system security best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Physics required (Master's preferred).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (0-2 years for Master's degree holders).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Proficiency in requirement derivation and analysis for system, network, and data security.
• Experience with NIST, NSA, and DoD security standards and frameworks.
• Strong collaboration skills for working within multidisciplinary program teams.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in STPA-Sec and Model-based System Engineering toolkits (Cameo, MagicDraw, Jama).
• Deep understanding of cryptography, PKI, and NSA Key Management Infrastructure.
• Experience with RMF, MITRE Attack Framework, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience drafting innovative R&D proposals for government sponsors.
