What you will do

  • Implement vision-guided reasoning systems that translate perception into physical actions for robotic platforms.
  • Build decision-making layers for autonomous planning, sequencing, and execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Integrate computer vision models with robotic control systems to bridge perception and action.
  • Design and implement safety constraints and fallback behaviors for precision hardware interaction.
  • Develop simulation and testing frameworks to validate robotic behaviors before field deployment.
  • Collaborate with vision teams and service engineers to validate approaches during proof-of-concept phases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience building robotics or autonomous systems in physical environments (strong new grads considered).
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++ with experience in ROS/ROS2 or equivalent frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with perception-to-action pipelines and integrating computer vision with robotic control.
  • Knowledge of motion planning, path planning, sensor fusion, and real-time control systems.
  • Strong understanding of safety engineering, failure modes, and human-in-the-loop design for autonomous systems.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial automation, or field robotics.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning for robotic control or sim-to-real transfer.
