What you will do

  • Implement vision-guided reasoning systems that translate perception into physical actions for robotic platforms.
  • Build autonomous decision-making layers for planning, sequencing, and executing maintenance tasks.
  • Integrate computer vision models with robotic control systems and collaborate with the vision team on perception requirements.
  • Design safety constraints, fallback behaviors, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms for precision hardware interaction.
  • Build simulation and testing frameworks to validate robotic behaviors before field deployment.
  • Work with service engineering teams during proof-of-concept projects and document architectures, control logic, and operational procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience building robotics or autonomous systems operating in physical environments; strong new graduates with relevant projects or research may be considered.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in ROS, ROS2, or an equivalent robotics framework.
  • Hands-on experience integrating computer vision with robotic control, including perception-to-action pipelines.
  • Experience with motion planning, path planning, task-level reasoning, sensor fusion, state estimation, and real-time control systems.
  • Understanding of autonomous-system safety engineering, including failure modes, fallback behaviors, and human-in-the-loop design.

Nice to have

  • Experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, industrial automation, or field robotics.
  • Experience with reinforcement learning for robotic control or sim-to-real transfer.
