What you will do

• Create detailed 3D designs for power generation projects using Inventor and AutoCAD.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop accurate technical schematics.
• Perform quality checks on designs to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Maintain organized records of all project documentation and schematics.
• Assist the engineering team with equipment drawings and installation/testing procedures.
• Develop technical specifications and RFQs in collaboration with the engineering team.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in drafting and designing mechanical systems.
• 5+ years of industry-related experience or an associate degree in a technical field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and related design software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Valid driver’s license.

Nice to have

• Experience with SolidWorks and SolidWorks Electrical.
• Knowledge of industrial automation equipment installation and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
