What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Technical QA Analysts, handling career management and performance reviews.
• Collaborate with designers and programmers to maintain gameplay consistency and technical integrity.
• Execute QA strategies, conduct risk analysis, and proactively mitigate quality issues early in development.
• Perform hands-on technical QA across PC, consoles, and mobile devices.
• Define success KPIs and develop data-driven reporting for development leads and directors.
• Participate in the interviewing and hiring process to grow the Technical QA team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Technical QA Analyst with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and experience with game engines (e.g., Unreal, Unity, Godot, REDkit).
• Ability to develop complex strategies for integration, stress, and performance testing.
• Experience capturing debug information such as PIX captures or debug network messages.
• Deep understanding of game development lifecycles and technology dependencies.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Boston, MA office.

Nice to have

• Programming or scripting skills, preferably in C++ and/or Python.
• Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Experience in implementing automation frameworks or authoring automated tests.
