Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year

What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive investigations to protect SpaceX intellectual property and corporate security.
• Analyze insider threat risks to infrastructure, programs, and operational security.
• Triage anomalous event data to detect indicators of data exfiltration or destruction.
• Collaborate with Information Security, HR, Legal, and Government Security on internal investigations.
• Utilize SIEM, DLP, and UEBA tools to identify anomalous activity and underlying threat trends.
• Produce metrics, case studies, and reports to communicate findings to management and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or 9+ years of professional experience in internal investigations, information security, or IT.
• U.S. Person status (Citizen, Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee) as per ITAR regulations.
• Possession of or ability to obtain an active TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Panther, Exabeam) or conducting digital forensic investigations.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends to support critical operations.
• Willingness to travel ad hoc.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Microsoft Purview for eDiscovery.
• Experience with continuous assessment and detection tuning for insider risk.
• Proven ability to conduct preliminary assessments, evidence collection, and stakeholder interviewing.
