What you will do

• Design and develop data transformation pipelines using DBT.
• Build scalable and robust data pipelines leveraging Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake.
• Process and manipulate data using Python (Pandas) and PySpark within Azure Databricks.
• Write advanced SQL queries for complex data querying, transformation, and aggregation.
• Create impactful visualizations and analytical dashboards using Power BI.
• Apply software engineering practices, including testing, clean code, and peer reviews via Azure DevOps.

Requirements

• Expertise in DBT and advanced SQL.
• Strong coding skills in Python, specifically with data libraries like Pandas.
• Proficiency in Azure services: Data Lake, Data Factory, Blob Storage, and SQL Database.
• Experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark (DataFrame API), and Delta Lake.
• Knowledge of relational (SQL Server) and NoSQL (Cosmos DB) databases.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Azure DevOps.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python ecosystem tooling such as poetry or venv.
• Ability to create highly interactive dashboards to communicate complex analytical insights.
