Senior Data Engineer

What you will do

• Develop, maintain, and support scalable data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Industrialize data feeds and manage data warehousing architecture.
• Create insightful reports and dashboards using visualization tools.
• Act as the primary point of contact for business sponsors and stakeholders.
• Communicate complex technical information to non-technical teams.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet strict deadlines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture.
• Professional proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas).
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Availability to work in a hybrid or onsite model in Lisbon or Porto.
• Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, or related fields.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Pyspark, Presto, and Airflow.
• Experience with Power Query and DAX.
• Understanding of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing.
