What you will do

• Collaborate with Third-Party Risk Management and business units to evaluate new applications and assess security controls.
• Enforce security standards across IT teams to ensure the deployment of secure technology solutions.
• Provide holistic security guidance on configuration changes affecting Security Operations and GRC compliance.
• Analyze platform configuration changes and provide recommendations to maintain the security posture.
• Support the adoption of security controls for IaaS/PaaS/SaaS using reference architectures and guardrails.
• Develop enterprise security standards aligned with frameworks such as CIS Critical Security Controls and NIST SP 800-53.

Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in Windows, Linux/Unix server engineering, or Cloud engineering (preferably AWS).
• Expertise in configuring security tooling such as EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, SIEM, PAM, CSPM, and DLP.
• Strong technical knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, VLANs, CIDR, and firewalls.
• Proven experience in security architecture or security engineering disciplines.
• Must be based in Beverly Hills, CA, USA.
• Ability to travel internationally and domestically on an infrequent basis.

Nice to have

• Experience with virtualization and containerization (VMware, Docker).
• Ability to develop Python scripts for task automation.
• Working knowledge of software development standards and SDLC concepts.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
