TL;DR
Associate Principal Resident Engineer (Cybersecurity): Deploying and optimizing the Dragos Platform within strategic federal customer industrial environments with an accent on ICS/OT system security and network architecture. Focus on tuning security coverage, conducting full platform deployments, and providing high-level technical guidance to critical infrastructure stakeholders.

Location: Must be based within commuting distance of Washington DC and work onsite 5 days per week

Salary: $155,000

What you will do

  • Plan, deploy, and optimize the hirify.global Platform within federal industrial environments.
  • Partner with client teams on network architecture, sensor placement, and system integrations.
  • Tune and monitor the platform to ensure continuous availability and security coverage.
  • Provide troubleshooting, break/fix support, and manage technical escalations.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer, training, and feature walkthroughs for key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal Intel and Threat Hunting teams to deliver comprehensive customer outcomes.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance (or higher) is mandatory.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Washington DC.
  • 5+ years of ICS/OT cybersecurity experience.
  • Strong knowledge of IP networks, OSI model, Purdue model, and ICS protocols.
  • Proficiency with Linux (CLI), Docker, Python/Shell scripting, SIEMs, and ELK stack.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30%.
