What you will do

• Build comprehensive athlete profiling frameworks connecting physical capacities, movement, and performance outcomes.
• Execute athlete testing across biomechanics, physiology, and strength domains in lab and field environments.
• Analyze and visualize performance data to create clear reports for interdisciplinary decision-making.
• Embed performance testing and feedback directly into strength, conditioning, and rehabilitation workflows.
• Lead structured innovation processes by defining performance questions and validating emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with coaches and physical therapists to ensure testing outputs influence real-time training decisions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate and Master’s degree in biomechanics, physiology, sports science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in professional or elite team sport environments.
• Proven experience with performance testing technologies like AMTI, Vicon, Theia, Human Norm, Parvo, Treadmetrix, and VALD.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools including MATLAB, Python, R, and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of strength and conditioning principles, training theory, and periodization.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific information to athletes and interdisciplinary staff.

Nice to have

• PhD in sports science or related field.
• Recognized sports science and strength and conditioning accreditation (CSCS, CPSS, BASES, ESSA).
• Experience supporting reconditioning and return-to-performance processes.
• Experience working across multiple sports with diverse athlete backgrounds.
