What you will do

• Shape the core product roadmap and long-term vision to make the platform more engaging for players of all levels.
• Collaborate with leadership and peers to refine ideas and build a shared product vision.
• Operate in a globally remote, async environment, using writing and Slack to drive decisions.
• Partner with engineering from initial spec to delivery, ensuring technical alignment and execution.
• Define and move key engagement metrics through data-driven prioritization and experimentation.
• Use AI to build mocks and prototype flows to accelerate validation and delivery.

Requirements

• 4+ years of product management experience shipping successful consumer-facing products.
• Strong product taste and deep familiarity with the chess context and hirify.global products.
• High-velocity communication skills, with the ability to operate effectively in writing.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US Eastern and Pacific time zones.
• Experience working in ambiguous environments and communicating with executive stakeholders.

Nice to have

• 7+ years of product management experience.
• Technical fluency and the ability to connect engineering discussions to user outcomes.
• AI-native workflow, utilizing AI daily to prototype and explore ideas.
