Research Associate (Healthcare Innovations)

TL;DR

Research Associate (Healthcare Innovations): Conducting research and data analysis focused on Medicaid policy and programs to improve outcomes for vulnerable populations with an accent on evidence-based policy design and program evaluation. Focus on synthesizing complex healthcare data, conducting primary source data collection, and translating findings into actionable insights for policymakers.

Location: Must be based in the United States (U.S.). Remote or hybrid (U.S. offices). U.S. territories are excluded.

Salary: $33 - $40 per hour

What you will do

• Compile and synthesize information through literature reviews and policy scans.
• Perform primary source data collection using interviews, focus groups, and surveys.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative research data and interpret findings.
• Prepare reports, briefs, charts, and graphs to communicate analysis results.
• Support proposal writing and business development activities.
• Assist with project management, including timeline development and meeting coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree in social sciences or related fields.
• Direct experience with Medicaid policy and/or data.
• Proven experience in quantitative and/or qualitative data collection.
• Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
• Employment-based visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B) is not available.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills for virtual collaboration.

• Experience using Python or R for data analysis.
