What you will do

• Research and identify alternate suppliers for electronic components used in hardware products.
• Support component qualification processes, including datasheet reviews and circuit-level testing.
• Collaborate with procurement, manufacturing, and quality teams to document findings.
• Maintain and update component databases and approved vendor lists.
• Assist in risk assessments for single-source components and propose mitigation strategies.
• Prepare test reports and recommendations for engineering review.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field (junior or senior standing).
• Familiarity with electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, MOSFETs, diodes, and ICs.
• Proficiency in using AI tools for research and component identification.
• Strong skills in Excel for building comparison sheets and evaluating specifications.
• Ability to learn and operate lab test equipment like oscilloscopes, DMMs, and thermal chambers.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
