Salary: $92,700–$113,000 USD

What you will do
- Lead or contribute to the design and execution of research projects, policy analyses, and program evaluations.
- Interpret policy and regulations to provide actionable insights for federal and state stakeholders.
- Oversee statistical analyses of large, complex datasets using tools like SAS, SQL, Stata, R, or Python.
- Design data visualizations and dashboards to present quality performance metrics.
- Manage project tasks, budgets, and timelines while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering inclusive team dynamics and best practices.
Requirements
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis; visa sponsorship is not available.
- PhD in a relevant field or a Master’s degree with at least four years of quantitative research experience.
- Demonstrated policy expertise related to Marketplace, Medicare, and Medicaid.
- Experience working on research or technical assistance projects for federal or state agencies like CMS.
- Strong quantitative skills with experience in statistical inference methods and data quality checks.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CMS data sources, waiver demonstrations (e.g., 1115 waivers), or value-based payment models.
- Direct experience working with CMS.
- Experience developing and writing proposals for federal agencies.
