Interim Senior Data Consultant (Data Strategy)

TL;DR

Senior Data Consultant (Data Strategy): Designing and optimizing end-to-end data flows for Sales and Supply Chain processes with an accent on standardization, governance, and scalability. Focus on mapping current state inefficiencies, designing future-state architectures, and leading cross-functional delivery to improve operational efficiency.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Must be based in the Netherlands and work from the Amsterdam office on average 3 days a week

Salary: €90 - €100 per hour

What you will do

• Assess and map end-to-end data flows for End to End Sales and Flexible Supply Chain.
• Identify bottlenecks, data gaps, and system dependencies to define scalable future-state designs.
• Design data ownership, governance, and control frameworks to ensure data quality.
• Lead the execution of data initiatives in collaboration with IT, BI, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Drive data standardization across global markets to improve operational consistency.
• Contribute to the long-term data strategy reporting directly to the CFO.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data consulting, transformation, or process redesign.
• Proven track record of delivering end-to-end data projects from assessment through implementation.
• Ability to align senior leaders and manage stakeholders across cross-functional environments.
• Experience redesigning complex processes with a deep understanding of data and governance.
• Hands-on mindset capable of transitioning from strategy to execution and driving delivery.
• Must be able to work from the Amsterdam office 3 days per week

Nice to have

• Experience in FMCG or similarly complex operational environments.
