What you will do

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including designing, coding, reviewing, and improving software.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and stakeholders to build a high-performance retail edge platform.
• Support backlog refinement in coordination with team leads and architects.
• Ensure the delivery of scalable solutions that align with business requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in a numerate discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with Golang and/or Python.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, Agile, and SOLID principles.
• Proficiency with Linux and Bash scripting.
• Experience using Git in collaborative, multi-developer environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Xen, QEMU, KVM, libvirt).
• Understanding of IT security principles and experience troubleshooting Linux-based networking.
