Location: Prague, Hlavní město Praha (Office Based). If permanently present outside of the Czech Republic, application may be refused.

What you will do

• Apply hands-on knowledge of modern storage technologies (e.g., Apache Iceberg, Databricks, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch) to product analysis.
• Provide structured input to Product Managers and R&D on storage scope, architecture options, integrations, and technology choices.
• Validate data retention and lifecycle management approaches.
• Review encryption and key management concepts and identify risks or gaps.
• Analyze ransomware/malware detection techniques relevant to storage and data protection.
• Analyze and help maintain REST APIs (entities, auth patterns, versioning, usability, consistency) and support on-prem release activities using monitoring metrics (dashboards, KPIs, trends).

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in technical analysis/product analysis roles in software, storage, platform, or adjacent areas.
• Strong knowledge of storage, encryption, and retention/lifecycle management in enterprise or SaaS environments.
• Hands-on understanding of modern storage architectures (object/block storage, deduplication systems, table formats like Apache Iceberg, and metadata concepts).
• Strong grasp of REST API design (structure, authentication, versioning) and ability to assess API usability and consistency.
• Understanding of ransomware/malware detection approaches for storage/backup solutions.
• Ability to build and use virtualization labs (e.g., VMware) to investigate system behavior independently.
