Senior Product Manager (Kubernetes/OpenStack/Ceph)

Focus on translating customer and operational feedback into data-driven tradeoffs, guiding Day-2 operations and lifecycle automation, and aligning the platform roadmap with how customers deploy CCC in hybrid and multicloud environments.

What you will do

• Define and communicate the long-term product vision and strategy for hirify.global Cloud Core across Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Ceph on bare metal.
• Translate vision into PRDs, user stories, and Jira epics with clear outcomes for reliability, security, performance, scale, operability, and cost.
• Own a prioritized product roadmap and make data-driven tradeoffs across customer needs, market direction, and technical debt (upgrades, Day-2 operations, platform consistency).
• Lead ongoing market and competitive analysis and serve as the primary path for customer feedback via field, partners, and direct conversations.
• Guide capabilities for elasticity, cost/capacity optimization, governance, and automated lifecycle/resource management across the full stack.
• Partner on go-to-market and enablement with Marketing, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Technical Field Teams, and Documentation; define KPIs and track platform health and adoption.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience with meaningful exposure to distributed data platforms, cloud/private-cloud data services, and/or control-plane/infrastructure products (Kubernetes, OpenStack, storage at scale).
• Strong understanding of the Kubernetes ecosystem and how it integrates with infrastructure and storage in a platform context.
• OpenStack experience or strong familiarity with IaaS concepts, networking, and operations on bare metal.
• Ceph experience or strong familiarity with object/block/file usage patterns, capacity, resilience, and Day-2 operations in productized platforms.
• Hands-on or deep familiarity with hybrid patterns connecting on-prem and bare metal, including containerized software at customer scale.
• Proven ability to write crisp technical specs (PRDs), define user stories/use cases, and manage a healthy backlog while simplifying complex platform topics for multiple audiences.

• MBA or equivalent business depth.
