What you will do

• Design and improve critical infrastructure systems including deployment, logging, and monitoring.
• Develop and own best practices for production infrastructure, including scaling, capacity planning, and configuration management.
• Streamline developer processes by managing CI/CD pipelines and staging environments.
• Contribute to long-term platform requirements with a focus on reliability and engineering excellence.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Experience designing and operating large-scale, multi-region, multi-cloud production systems.
• Proficiency with AWS or similar cloud infrastructures.
• Strong experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building deployment pipelines with tools like CircleCI, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Experience with real-time telemetry and tracing tools like Prometheus or DataDog.

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh deployments (Istio, Linkerd).
• Knowledge of streaming infrastructure like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Understanding of microservice architecture and web applications.
• Startup experience or a background in building side projects.
