TL;DR
Senior Reliability Engineer (SRE): Develop and implement advanced reliability engineer practices for critical bank services with an accent on systemic resilience, failure prevention, and end-to-end observability. Focus on driv the adoption of the One Engineer System (1ES), automat toil, and perform deep failure-mode analysis across complex distributed systems.
Location: Must be based in Romania (Hybrid model at Expo Business Park).

What you will do
- Develop and implement reliability engineer practices focused on resilience by design and systemic failure prevention.
- Collaborate with architecture and DevOps teams to enforce resilience patterns across microservices and pipelines.
- Conduct deep failure-mode analysis and support global major incidents as a technical authority.
- Drive toil reduction programs and automate repetitive tasks to improve operational efficiency.
- Mature observability, capacity plann, and performance engineer practices.
- Enable digital product reliability by driv the adoption of the One Engineer System (1ES).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in SRE, platform engineer, or software architecture with distributed systems.
- Proficiency in containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation (Azure DevOps, GitOps).
- Experience with software development (Java, Kotlin, or Python).
- Deep understand of network fundamentals, databases, and observability stacks.
- Must be based in Romania and able to work in a hybrid model.
Nice to have
- Experience integrat AI/ML capabilities in operations (AIOps, anomaly detection, predictive alert).
- Experience with chaos engineer and fault injection practices.
- Strong systems think and ability to lead without authority.
