Senior Android Software Engineer (Kotlin)

Salary: €5,000 – €7,000 per month (Lithuania) or 22,000 – 37,000 PLN per month (Poland)

What you will do

• Own complex features end-to-end, from ambiguous requirements through A/B experimentation to production rollout.
• Develop a large-scale Kotlin Android app utilizing Compose, Coroutines, Hilt, and Navigation components.
• Raise the quality bar by contributing to test infrastructure and pushing for high testability.
• Mentor other engineers through code reviews and pair programming.
• Identify and eliminate technical debt, flaky builds, and legacy pain points.
• Drive improvements in development workflows, including AI-assisted development and CI pipelines.

Requirements

• Proven track record of architecting and shipping production Android apps at scale.
• Deep knowledge of Android internals, including lifecycle, framework behavior, and performance.
• Experience designing modular and scalable codebases with clear architectural patterns.
• Strong testing mindset with experience in automation and testability reviews.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues and system-level bottlenecks.
• Must be based in or available for the Lithuanian or Polish markets.

Nice to have

• Experience with JNI, Python, or Bash.
• Skills in reverse engineering.
