What you will do

• Lead the technical design and implementation of a mobile SDK modernization initiative for fraud prevention.
• Define and maintain a scalable and maintainable SDK architecture.
• Develop proof-of-concept components to validate architectural decisions.
• Ensure SDK compatibility across diverse Android versions and device manufacturers.
• Optimize performance, specifically focusing on startup time, memory usage, and binary size.
• Implement secure data storage and communication mechanisms.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Android development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java interoperability.
• Proven experience building and distributing reusable Android SDKs or libraries.
• Expertise in AAR packaging, Maven repositories, and Gradle customization.
• Deep knowledge of ProGuard, R8, and Android security features (Android Keystore, encryption).
• Experience with Play Integrity API, SafetyNet, and testing frameworks (JUnit, Robolectric, Espresso).

Nice to have

• Experience working within financial services or heavily regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Android SensorManager for sensor-based data processing.
• Experience with API desugaring and SDK footprint optimization techniques.
